SACHIN TENDULKAR

Sachin Tendulkar, the greatest batsman was born April 24, 1973 in  Bombay(now Mumbai) Maharashtra India .He belong to a  middle class family,where  his mother  worked for a life insurance company and his father  was a professor .He started his career at the age of 11.His full name Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar because of his family's favorite music director, Sachin Dev Burman.

He father name is  Ramesh Tendulkar, a Marathi novelist.  Sachin  has two brothers, Ajit, Nitin and a sister, Savitai.He married Anjali in 1995 and they have a son, Arjun and a daughter, Sara.

He completed his school life from Sharadashram Vidyamandir in Dadar West, Mumbai.After completing his school life he enrolled at Kirti College, where his father also professor of this college. He is the first player to score a double century in ODI cricket. In 2002, just 12 years into his career.  At the age of 14 he scored 329 out of a world record stand of 664 in a school match. Sachin Tendulkar was just 16 when he became India's youngest Test cricketer.

He became the first cricketer to score 35 centuries(Test Play) against Srilanka in 2005. He  made his debut at age of  16 international competition  in Karachi with a match against Pakistan . At the age of 18 he scored a pair of centuries in Australia, then in 1994 racked up a score of 179 in a match against the West Indies.

His name is nominated for captainship   at the age of just 23 of his country's team for the  World Cup in 1996.

Tendulkar reached another major milestone, becoming the first player to record 15,000 runs in one-day international play In 2007.

He   crossed his 30,000 runs in international cricket on Novembar 20,2009.

He has scored more runs  than anyone both one day intermnationals and Tess matches.

He made his outstanding unbeaten score  248 test  run  against  at Dhaka in 2004 and also unbeaten 200 runs against South Africa(one day)  at Gwalior in 2010 which became him  the first man.  Tendulkar became the first batsman to score 15,000 runs in Test Cricket. He also holds the world record for playing highest number of Test and ODI matches

Tendulkar has been awared with, India's second highest civilian award, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award and  the Padma  Vibhushan award, and, India's highest sporting honour.

Sachin Tendulkar was bought as the icon and most expensive player for the Mumbai Indians team at the 2008 Indian Premier League (IPL) for rs 6.03.23250.00

Candidates’ Selection process—
Eligible candidates will be called for a Preliminary Examination to be held on General Studies and Arithmetic (Multiple choice objective type questions) with full marks of 200 (150 marks in General Studies having 75 questions & 50 marks in Arithmetic having 25 questions. Duration of Written Examination will be 90 minutes.
Candidates who qualify the preliminary examination will be called for Final Examination.

The Final Examination will consist of three papers of conventional type questions on – Paper-I: General Studies and Arithmetic (2hrs duration),  Paper-II : English (1hr duration) and Paper-III: Bengali/Hindi/ Urdu/ Nepali (1hr duration)
The examination for all the above three papers will be held on the same day.
